The COVID-19 catastrophe in Bali is still a topic of national concern that this week, following the current surge in coronavirus instances contributed to eight of the state's nine areas being marked as insecure, or"red zones" to COVID-19, the maximum amount in contrast to other states in Indonesia.With the exclusion of Klungkung regency, all Bali's regencies and Denpasar -- the only real city in the state -- were lately announced as red zones.  

Bangli, Karangasem, along with Tabanan regencies have been considered insecure zones before, while Jembrana, Badung, Gianyar, Buleleng, and Denpasar town have joined the red zones listing. Before this week, Indonesia's COVID-19 task force also emphasized that the greatest weekly surge of coronavirus instances throughout the nation was reported in Bali, which saw over 100 percent growth in comparison to the prior week. Deputy Governor Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati said only yesterday that local broadcasts in Bali escalated from home clusters and traditional ceremonies, while also earning a reference to the way the restart of local tourism throughout the island following months of constraints have led to numerous younger people moving on excursions and leading to asymptomatic cases becoming more prevalent.
